Filippo is your man for all things IT in Ericeira. With over 10 years of experience in coding and a Computer Science degree from the UK, he knows how all sort of pieces of software work together.

What is “usually” missing in devs is a good taste and superb communication skills - not with Filippo. I immediately noticed that touch of playfulness on his websites, so whatever custom software he will build for you, you will enjoy using it. Plus, yes, he’s social and communicative - he owns the largest surf skate community in Eri, is a lifeguard and his guilty pleasure is creating surf videos.

He’s strong in using React.js, JavaScript & PostgreSQL, but as a full stack developer he can create any custom software or automation. For example, he built a custom private jet management system for an Italian client (see picture). He just loooves combing tools (spreadsheets, Zapier, Retool & Co) and add a pinch of custom code to make things happen - also known as that dopamine kick when a task is completed automatically instead of doing it manually. With his wide knowledge of tools, he can also help you to compare the best existing solutions for your problem and help you set up the best one.

Who is behind this?

I'm Svenja - I have the Ericeira bug since May 2022. When people ask me why I am so obsessed with Ericeira, I say: because it's like being in a village but with city people. So many smart, experienced people around, who love nature, sports, and fancy cafés (sorry, I don't want to be a hipster, but yea).

In April 2023, a local Uber driver in Ericeira recommended me that thing called padel tennis and since then I'm mainly a padel-girl. But you can also find me running and I want to start dancing again! During the day, I'm doing marketing for 2 small Swiss teams: a medical software company 👩‍⚕️ and a piano store 🎹

Why this site? Working in medical software companies is nice and useful. But I’ve been a manual therapist before and while it felt good to fix/care for a patient’s back pain, I always wanted to work on preventing medical issues. So my initial motivation for this site was to promote sports activities and healthy lunches.

Then my friend Zé came around the corner and started talking about how he really would like to build a platform where you can book all the things in Ericeira (like massage therapists, surf lessons or dog walkers). So in the end, with this site, we now combine his imagined booking platform and my healthy stuff :) Feel free to shoot any feedback to svenja+ze@erijoy.com
