Idk girl, aren’t you a bit delulu to dream about vibe puzzling? I hope so. Never heard about delulu is the solulu? Erijoy my explanation of what vibe puzzling is (not) and why I don’t care if I fail hard because I simply enjoy writing fiction novels.

Come on, the 2 of us are just here, cause you are too curious and clicked that link, didn’t you. So you wanna have some more cringe feelings about my delulu vibe puzzles. Just to get the only argument that matters straight out of the way: I, me, myself, would enjoy doing a vibe puzzle if I had a spare 10K. So even if I am the only person in the world for which that sounds like the most fun game - once I made my Uber richness and restaurant richness and etc-pp-richness a reality and then dare to make another 10K to play a vibe puzzle .. fine, let me play, no? If I would be a doggo, I would foff at you:

I’m not talking about creating the first living cell “for fun”, aye? I’m talking about enjoying the misery of failing to tweak an existing small business by doing a vibe puzzle sprint for 2 weeks. Why we are here is just because (1) you feel way too much ?cringe-joy? in your body reading my words and (2) I am wondering if I can shortcut my way to vibe puzzling asap. So .. is anyone reading this who also happens to have a spare 10K and a brain that wants to enjoy itself playing a very fun game? While I patiently wait for tHe oNe, I’ll do my bit and keep puzzling around with private chefs, cheers.

What does delulu mean? Write fiction novels, then dare to calc if possível

And what if I tell you the truth, that, actually, I prefer to write fiction and not to state plain facts? Take my yap about vibe puzzlers as a teaser to a fiction novel. What a cute fiction novel with a potentially realistic touch it instantly became. Cause these kinda novels are my fav books: Lord of All Things or One Trillion Dollars. I guess because my brain gets high on calcing the probability of these fantasies turning into reality.

I like being delulu because it means allowing myself to enter extremely joyful fantasy worlds, and only through delusional writing I can create detailed fantasy worlds. Don’t worry, I balance it out with complaining in real life at the run club about which snack place we desperately need in downtown. I just crave to have an optimal combo of fantasy and pragmatism in my life. It’s a thrill, an absolute joy to test if I can get a millimetre closer to my delulu snack paradise through writing.

Through writing fiction, now my words exist in a tiny bit more solid way in my mind .. and in your mind. And I don’t know about your mind, but my mind is addicted to detecting bullshit and contrasts the shit out of sentences once they’re out in the wild. And then iterates. Until they become good ish. And if they don’t, I still enjoyed the ride anyway. Felt joy in my soul writing a lil fiction novel that I’ll pick up in 9 years again.

May all your delulu come trululu in terms of workish games

My hypothesis is that working on the “optimal things” can bring much more joy than only working on whatever the optimal way (indie hack way obv). According to The Science Of Creation, the difference between delulu not working out and delulu working out, is to never ever stop yourself from following your cravings for a certain workish game. The more delulu you are, the more and longer you are incentivised to stop adapting at some point.

And while I do think delulu works brilliantly for workish games, I think it doesn’t work to delulu your way into the brain of 1 person. Cause brain patterns are the most solid thing to change - proper painful willpower and the best coaches are needed. Funny how that works, aye? I was told brain motorways are made of invisible magic energy?? But the real world supermarket corridors may be easier to tweak, even though they are made of actual matter (German precision: born as magic but then were vibed into actual matter).

Wait, but vibe puzzlers are not gonna own anything or get any return or any slide decks.  They're not even trying to grow a business as such, but instead tweak it in a way so that it improves everyone's health systematically. I look for lazysmart investors who have a spare 10K and wanna erijoy a ride, solve a puzzle with their brains. Which 99% isn’t you .. cause slave, cause still optimising for money, cause still pondering what to do in Ericeira to get the hottest girlfriend instead of optimising for enjoying the nicest vibe puzzles.

Delulu meaning - you could call it .. I want to consult small businesses 

Wait, but consultants need to convince a business to pay them €111/h to create some delusional slides in P o w e r P o i n t. While vibe puzzlers may indie-hack-vibe-code something quickly for that small business. AND flip the money script and instead payyyy to play. Cause they can. Cause they want to feel maximum joy enjoying their brains solving a vibe puzzle.

All these lengthy discussions if a consultant should change something about the status quo come up because (1) consultant and small business owner generally don’t have the same brain motorways/have very different core values or (2) the business owner doesn’t want to spend the time and money on experimenting. Here, (3) comes into play: they are now paid by vibe puzzlers to let them experiment 🤓

My brain kinda predicts that a small business owner will feel a bit like this random homeless person that got 10K from MrBeast on the street. Sounds like maximum joy to ma ears. Maybea I should ask MrBeast if he wants to become a vibe puzzler and wants to create some fun videos (and top-notch thumbnails) 🧐 Or maybea someone kinda as good as MrBeast? Ahhh, my lord, this vibe puzzling addiction is kicking in again, without having a gang ready to feel and triple the magic :’(

Delulu meaning - you could call it .. I wanna influence small businesses

Wait, but it’s not like 1 vibe puzzler writes 1 LinkedIn post so that 1 person does something they want. It’s more like a gang of 5 vibe puzzlers combine their brains to make 33 things happen quickly, which together creates a special combo-influence.

If someone has influence, yes, that could be a key ingredient to some vibe puzzles. Sometimes it may be more about having money or knowing how to indie-hack-vibe-code. Sometimes about researching what already exists, sometimes excelling at AI prompts, sometimes knowing what is where locally, sometimes spiking in creativity, sometimes being a bit naive, sometimes having some agency, sometimes being a cute girl, sometimes having played volleyball 2 years ago with that 1 dude. Sometimes it may be playing a bit more volleyball to find that 1 missing puzzle piece through random magic. Sounds like the ultimate fun game to meai :)

Delulu meaning - you could call it .. I wanna be a social entrepreneur

Wait, but you saying this makes me feel cringe - and not even joyful-cringe. But yea, truth is, I was influenced by this social startup scene when I was working in it 10 years ago in Berlin. There is also this 1 TED Talk (😂) that influenced me quite a bit. In it, Daniela Papi Thornton from Oxford uni points out quite some bullshit gems that I also feel about people starting a social startup, e.g. to sell handbags made of old fire hoses.

Next to her being a good bullshit detector re: social entrepreneurs, I also identify with what she says about “being married to solving a problem” instead of starting 1 social startup. Through feeling the pain of people in pain, I am married to the problem of un-health. Whatever I did for work in the past, I kinda optimised for reducing un-health from different angles:

1. Studying HR to promote part-time work
2. Working part-time in HR in a social startup (and then declining their/mine first real long-term job offer .. if not, I probably would be still there today)
3. Working in manual therapy to care 1:1 for patients
4. Working in cancer research to feel the big startup impact
5. Going remote to optiii my own health in the sun
6. Working for small medical startups to balance impact and life in the sun
7. Starting erijoy to promote private chefs aka healthy and tasty food
8. Vibe puzzling small businesses into health in a misty fishing village obv comes next

Because when someone is deep into the shit (aka has diabetes, heart disease or recurrent muscular diseases), I feel maximum helpless and maximum angry. Just because the system incentivised them to get sick for decades.

But I’m not too sure if you can chAngE tHe sYsteM. There is this fictional thought experiment in ma fav book One Trillion Dollars, that systems may only change after they collapse. So it’s not really that I wake up every morning and think “I wanna chAngE tHe sYsteM, wuhuuu lfgo <33”. I honestly think it’s just the most fun *and* potentially most effective way to play around with an existing small business (system) to solve my own issues. And I really imagine it’s a thrill to puzzle in real life in ma village with a gang.

And then write about it, cause also fun. I think if your main aim is to change the system, you may lose the joy of tinkering around, end up working too much etc. pp - so my priority is playing. Maxxing out on enjoying the slow journey in the right direction. And then maybe maybe some system magic unfolds in case other villages or other bigger systems ever dare to play with the vibe puzzle pieces we stitched together.

Wait, but vibe puzzlers are not gonna own the indie hack thing that they’re hacking together. No business to own, aka 1 more thing to own them and asking for 111 fixes for forever. They're only gonna get these 3 things:

.. only gonna get thank you’s from the bottom of the hearts of the small business owner and some village people
.. only be less annoyed themselves about something in their village, cause they've solved their own problem systematically
.. only gonna have another best time of their life, cause it was a fun rollercoaster adventure with da gang

Vibe puzzlers do what they do in order to properly enjoy napping on the beach as a retiree. But ofc, first and foremost, they optimise for maximum joy in their doggo’s tail when they finally come back home from that wild vibe puzzling adventure.

Wait, but vibe puzzlers are wayyy too lazy to create an app that already exists if they would google (let alone ChatGPT) properly. But yes, the time constraint as with hackathons is a key ingredient of vibe puzzles. As if a maths teacher would pressure them to hand in that paper at 1pm, sharp. Why on eriearth would they crave time constraints?

Well .. what was the last best time of your life and why? Did it involve some constraints in time *and* space *and* people?

• Was it when you were born into the Gates family, got into Stanford, and then felt some magic in your room with ya best friend brainstorming about the one app you wanna build?
• Was it when you felt some magic when you fell in love with your wife at uni simply because you both turned up to the same lessons in the same rooms every day?
• Was it when you felt some magic when you only had that 1 close close friend living next door, so you ended up doing every lunch & dinner together and whatever flowed in between?
• Was it when you felt some magic when you locked yourself in together with ya gang on an island to all become the top 10 poker players in the world?

Back to reality: In my non-fantasy marketing work for clients, I organise so-called “website sprints” - where we launch a new webpage in 1 week. I made these artificial constraints up after I got mega annoyed that updating 1 webpage can take months cause of lengthy discussions with everyone and their cousin’s doggo. What can I say .. it works and we already created 4 webpages for which texts, visuals and implementation were done in 1 week, tadaa. And everyone is mega proud.

See .. I do have felt some annoyance in my life and vibed a solulu to life. But I haven’t told you about the most annoying thing that still creates a major cognitive dissonance in my life: why did I ever allow feeling stress in my body to hand in that bachelor thesis about a completely utterly meaningless useless delusional topic at 1pm, sharp?? But at the same time I never dared to feel that kinda stress, aka these constraints, to solve my health issues systematically? For any serious optimiser and proper priotiser like meai, this is unbearably irrational. I haveee toooo vibe puzzle to get these life prios in order.

Are you still trying to sell me that tweaking a supermarket so that people buy less health-hazardous stuff is impossível to do in 2 weeks but renovating a whole house in 7 days is possível? I am not keen on having TV in Ericeira whatsoever .. just wanted to mention what's possível.

You could call it .. I have some woolly feminine feelings about vibe puzzling. Yep true, and I simply enjoy too much following my feelings, my cravings, my intuition, my curiosity, all the things which most people may not have time to feel into. And yes, maybe I currently don’t describe well what I crave - but these are my best words to express my feelings, for now.

Truth is, I’d regret it way too much not following my delulu. And I’d say delulu is not the solulu if you’re not acting on your delulu. If you act your way towards your delulu even just a millimetre, I’d rather call that being playful with the universe.
