Once upon a time you probably did do some workout, aye? As a female, deep down in your ass muscles, you remember how amazing the tight jeans felt the next day 🍑 As a male, deep down in your pants, you remember how amazing it felt to confidently take off your shirt while some females happened to be around? 🦍 But now you really just don’t feel like going to the gym in Ericeira. But should you listen to your feelings? Mhhh.

Maybe you’re just out of the 2 addictive cycles: the sorenessy and the endorphiny cycle. But once you got sucked into them 5 times by joining a workout class in Ericeira, you will feel like it? I’d say act like a gym robot for 5 times and do it. Then feel into your feelings again. That's basically why I'm lost in the cycles currently.
However, I heard rumours in town, that most male 🦧 do not like workout classes, but at the same time, they alsoooo don't wanna look dumbulu next to the established gym bros at the machines in the gym. So they are stuck in .. fine, I'll do exactly nothing, nada, niente about this gym thing. So here I think, they instead could book a personal trainer for 5 times straight away. They'll feel just a fraction of the pain showing their belly to 1 professional gym bro instead of being the 1 🦧 in front of 33 🦍 gym bros, aye.
If you feel wayyy too lazy to organise a personal trainer or workout classes for yourself, just WhatsApp me "Svenji, I am helplessly maximum lazy .. can you drag me to the next workout you go to?" - if that sounds wayyyy too exhausting to open WhatsApp and send this exact message to avoid the 96 most common diseases .. So I do the Thursday evening run, getting high on the ocean view along the way. On the way back, I’m getting even hiiigher by jumping into the ocean. Let’s not talk about what happens after I had my sparkling water. This combo keeps me stuck in the endorphiny and sorenessy cycles for 48h ish. After that, I’m like: helloooo where are you, where are you my muscles?

Yea .......... let’s not lie in this article. Workouts are not fun. They are not. So I guess we have to combo here. How could we possibly make workout day your fav day of the week? Maybe if you hang out before or after the workout with that 1 person you crave? ...... Don’t tell me you don’t have cravings for people? Then I’d say you have a very big issue that needs fixing first. Which sports, soulful or brainy activities do you actually enjoy, where you could meet others with the same feelings?
I mean, imagine catching up with that 1 person you crave effortlessly for shit chat every Thursday evening while jumping together into the ocean after the workout. Lovely. Almost that immensely lovely that you’re gonna tell your grandkids later on about that detail of your famoso Erilife. Personal trainer in Ericeira - how to get that fitness in Ericeira asap
If you have issues to make free friends, get a paid friend aka a personal trainer asap. You have few options to escape when a lovely guy named Dale or a lovely lady named Emily rings on your door. What will you do? Hide in your closet or under the stairs?
I've heard Dale has even created an app for all the gym bros he coaches so he can annoy them on their phone if they haven't done what was clearly agreed on. With Emily, I’ve done many workout classes and she’s one of the most admirable personal trainers in town. You can also book her for a private session, but then split the costs in a group of friendz and ask her to focus on whatever you desire. If you’re broke as f, ping me and let me be your charity-“friend” to drag you to the workouts :)
So let me ponder .. are there any excuses left, except you don't feel like climbing that initial mental mountain, that is yourself, to enter the addictive endorphiny and sorenessy cycles? Mhh
Maybe the real question is .. did you get hurt enough to feel like going to the gym in Ericeira?
Once upon a pre-matchas time, nobody had to force themselves to go to the gym in Ericeira. The Ericeira OGs just felt like creating something with their hands, and by that I don’t mean creating some buttons through a laptop like me. They felt like lifting fisher nets and stones and pots and kids and goats. So they challenged their muscles as a side effect of living life.

But then they got lazysmart and started to optimise for spending the least energy possível. While not realising, having no challenges is not optimal. They ignored the surprisingly simple life optimisation maths, but yea, here we are on a joyful ride to fix that shit. Sooo the question that challenged your muscles changed from .. what do I want to create with my hands .. to .. has someone or something hurt me enough that I feel like going to the gym?
Like your ex? Or that girl in high school? Or the disease of your mum? If the answer is no, you’re a wholesome psychologically healthy being, lovely. Then the question turns into .. did you dare to imagine that someone or something can hurt you immensely in the future if you don’t go to the gym in Ericeira?

Thing is, you have to have serious fantasy skills .. because it is wayyyy easier to tell yourself .. naaa I’m fine and kinda happy with ma body. But when these 96 most common diseases attack you at around age 50 .. the chance of you getting addicted to the workout cycles is close to 0%. If you don’t pay into your workout addiction bank now, you will not crave the addiction when it’s madly needed at 50, when padel alone won’t do the job.
At the same time, there is an argument these days, that if you don’t go to the gym but generally look healthy ish, it almost signals that you’re kinda happy with your body. You are that happy that you don’t feel the urge to force yourself to do something you don’t enjoy just to become good enough. I would support this attitude, if there wouldn’t be these 96 diseases ..

But these happy people are right in a way that first you should see if you can get almost all the muscles needed from playing instead of working (out). And anyway, everyone and their cousin’s doggo knows by now that feeling maximum connection is the most effective thing you can do for your health - and you get that if you play sports with other 🦧 & 🦍 :)
Workouts should just enable, supplement, whatever you enjoy doing in life. And I bet as a kid you had a fun gang that moved in some way? Was it dancing, horse riding or skating? Why not optii for maximum connection again like a lazysmart kid and get fit as a side effect?

Maybe the real question is .. can a gym in Ericeira ever be fun?
Even that tasty ocean jump, sparkling water and dance combo will become boring if I don’t tweak it here and there. So eventually I will need better cravings. Definitely better cravings than craving during the workout “when is it finally over”. Because let’s stay honest .. noooooo way I’m gonna keep doing these boring workouts for the next 54 years of my life. How is anyone imposing such unrealistic expectations on me? To do something so boring at its core for 54 years? No way. You have some delulu issues overestimating my willpower.
Maybe also hurt is not the answer, but fun is. Instead of annoying my willpower to show up every time .. why not trigger some joy in my body by comboing annoying workouts with something tasty?

I think games are tasty .. and games that result in maximum connection are maximum tasty. So why not comboing working (out) with playing e.g. Werewolf, The Psychologist, or my tarot cards? Welcome to ma second cute table :)

Work (out) the German way
So while I feel optimal looking at this cute table above .. you feel .. idk girl, aren’t you a bit delulu to dream about werewolf workouts? You really think that is the peak of my delulu? lol. But ok, ok, let us get down to delulu level 1 instead and question why nobody has done these simple optimisations that I crave for workout/CrossFit classes in Ericeira:
- Why on eriearth has nobody minimised them down to 30 min?
- Why on eriearth is ChatGPT telling me you can also just do 20-min of butt and abs exercises and effectively grow these ones aka get all you want as a girl?
- Why on eriearth is no workout class focusing on actually increasing the kg of weights every week, even though “progressive overload” is the only thing that matters for proper muscle growth?
- Why on eriearth nobody ever asked me if I dare to being able to do 1 push-up? Cause I don’t, I really don’t give a single fck to ever being able to do 1 push-up ever
- Why on eriearth is nobody doing beach-beach workouts, so there is social pressure to jump into the ocean afterwards to 10x the endorphiny cycle?

Maybe the real question is .. why on eriearth is no German girl comboing an efficient workout with something fun for maximum connection? Cause she is wayyyy too lazy. Maybe in the future, cause, for now I'm happily stuck in the endorphiny and sorenessy cycles.
